As a high school student in Speech and Debate, I’ve had to spend a lot of money on business clothes over the years. Speech and Debate and any other business related school activities have the potential to educate the youth in a way that traditional curriculum cannot. However, the price of professional clothing is a HUGE deterrent for students who want to participate but don’t have the financial means. Clothe the Future is a great organization that helps support the youth and allow them to pursue their passion whether it’s Speech and Debate , FBLA, DECA, or FCCLA.
